A failing drive, low storage, too many startup programs, browser problems, updates, heat, or limited memory can all cause slow performance. I check the likely causes before recommending cleanup, an upgrade, or replacement.

Yes. I provide onsite computer help in the Charlotte area and can test the computer with the Wi-Fi, printer, accounts, cables, and other devices involved in the problem.

Can my files and programs move to a new computer?Can my files and programs move?

Files, browser information, email, and many familiar settings can usually be moved. Programs depend on compatibility, licenses, installers, and account access, so I review those individually before the old computer is retired.

An offline message often comes from a Wi-Fi change, the wrong printer entry, an old driver, a stalled print queue, or sleep-mode behavior. I test the printer and the device sending the job together.

Do not call the number in the warning or send more information. If someone connected remotely, disconnect that computer from the internet and use a different trusted device for urgent account or financial steps.

Yes. I support focused projects, technology cleanups, and occasional needs involving computers, Microsoft 365, Wi-Fi, printers, backups, security priorities, and vendors.

Do you offer weekend or urgent appointments?Weekend or urgent appointments?

Yes. Saturday and Sunday appointments are available, along with same-day appointments for emergencies and urgent issues. Call or text to confirm a time. I usually reply within one hour.

Can you help me remotely?Can you help remotely?

Yes, after our first onsite appointment. That initial visit lets me get to know you and your setup. Remote appointments are available for later issues that can be handled that way.

Which areas do you visit, and is there a trip fee?Where do you visit? Any trip fee?

I visit Charlotte and nearby communities, including Providence Plantation, The Palisades, Myers Park, Carmel Country Club, Glen Eagles, Aero Plantation, Fort Mill, and Lake Norman. A trip fee applies only when your location is more than 30 minutes from my Charlotte business location.

How do you protect my files and old equipment?How do you protect files and old equipment?

Your files and security are my first priority. Lab-based data migrations take place in a secure environment that is not connected to the internet. Equipment entrusted to me for retirement or recycling is securely wiped and decommissioned first, with evidence provided to you by email.
